The employer is an international Seed company.
  • Define and supervise objectives, actions, and achievements for the company's specialty field crops.
  • In conjunction with senior management, plan and implement sales strategies to gain market share and increase profitability.
  • Coordinate the budgeting process, including marketing and promotional activities.
  • Determine sales volume targets by region and by variety.
  • Monitor key measurements and report to upper management.
  • Interface directly with customers to help build relationships.
  • Identify and develop key accounts for and offer support in developing and maintaining relationships.
  • Oversee national segmentation strategies and determine specific pricing policy for each region.
  • In conjunction with the Product Development Manager, define production targets and seed releases volumes for each region.
  • Coordinate various sales events within the regions.
  • Participate in Product launches, Distributor meetings, field days, Industry meetings, Conferences and other events.
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis

  • Degree in Agriculture related field
  • MBA or advance degree a plus
  • Experience working with and selling; growers - grain suppliers - reseller
  • Experience selling / business development in seed industry
  • Technical Skills Knowledge of specialty crop production and agronomy
  • Able to work in a multi-culture company environment
  • Agronomist / Plant Breeder experience a PLUS
