Working within a dynamic team locally, you will be supporting OC&R teams globally, facing off to Operations line managers and working with colleagues in Product Control and Finance. The responsibilities will allow you to see a broad range of different operational processes/areas and build out your understanding of Operations, the underlying controls and the balance sheet impact. As part of the wider OC&R team, you may also have the opportunity to broaden your wider risk skillset by supporting other risk initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include: Ensuring timely facilitation of month and year-end completeness of Group Operations compliance to key regulatory and financial reporting responsibilities such as section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and General Ledger Account attestation (GLAO). Responsible for working in partnership with Regional Teams around the world to ensure key control weaknesses are captured and reported as it pertains to Credit Suisse's Financial Balance Sheet. Ensuring adequate coverage and timely reporting of issues pertaining to Group Operation's regulatory reporting & control frameworks (e.g., SOX and GLAO statuses, missed or failed testing, issues and incidents) by Regional teams, including data gathering and delivery. Working with Risk Oversight Regional teams to review that elements of the frameworks are transparent and are meeting reporting requirements. Communication, monitoring and reporting of global risk issues. Developing trusted partnerships with Operations Line Manager Teams responsible for the underlying process controls and account ownership functions and interacting with multiple Partners across international offices and within CS Groups, like: Product Control, Financial Accounting, and Risk Management. As needed, taking initiative and supporting a wider set of risk projects and activities. You Offer You have a degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting discipline. Pursuit of or existing CPA qualifications is desirable. You have experience across a range of Shared Services functions (such as Product Control, Operations or Financial Accounting) would also be desirable. You are creative and inquisitive mindset - Strategic thinker with ability to understand problems at a high level and then deep-dive into specific aspects. You have solid influencing skills and ability to make compelling business cases. You have strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. You have effective Analytical Skills.
