The HollyFrontier Corporation is looking for a Exchange Administrator for our Dallas, TX office. The Exchange Administrator will participate in all aspects of the Messaging environment, which includes project planning, requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support. The Administrator will work closely with subject matter experts and end users to ensure efficient delivery and governance of messaging services.

This position is not eligible for International Relocation Program benefits.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Provide Operational support for day-to-day messaging environment issues and trouble tickets.
  • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Exchange 2016 and Office 365 hybrid environment.
  • Outlook Client configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Support Exchange Calendar issues for users.
  • Provide Active Directory support for users, security and distribution groups.
  • Support email migration and archiving solutions.
  • Support Windows Server 2008 R2 Server 2016.
  • Provide health status reporting, remediation steps and timelines to IT Service Management.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace failed components.
  • Troubleshoot mailflow and e-mail security end-to-end.
  • Interact with Service Desk, Desktop, Network, Systems Administration and Business Applications Support teams.
  • Be able to work independently or on a team to design and build.
  • Participate in customer team meetings to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing project status and deliverables.
  • Apply and share knowledge; contribute ideas and opinions.
  • Participate in customer team meetings and lead conversations.
  • Convey technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical people.
  • Convert business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
  • Manage his or her own work and schedule with minimal oversight.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

TECHNICAL REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with in Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
  • Experience with proactive maintenance and update cycles for MS Exchange 2010+.
  • Powershell 3.0+ for AD and Exchange administration and mailbox user reporting.
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot & evaluate server connectivity issues.
  • Thorough knowledge & understanding of Server infrastructure and OS.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Domain, Active Directory, DNS, SMTP,Telnet, DHCP, FTP, SSL.
  • Hands-on VMware for routine administration.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Windows Server Failover clustering administration
  • Office 365 migration and administration

NON-TECHNICAL SKILL(S):

The applicant must be able to manage multiple projects and/or tasks concurrently. Must be a self-starter & be able to use own judgment/initiative to undertake activities with minimal supervision. The Candidate must also have excellent oral & written communications skills as well as the ability to work alone or within a team environment.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Office based with up to 25% travel by land or air is required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions. Occasional long hours, as well as nights and weekends as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job conditions require sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, and perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require standing, walking, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 25lbs, and ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, and valid State driver s license and proof of insurance required.
